Job summary

Habitat for Humanity Chicago is seeking a part-time ReStore Associate to work on the front lines with donors and customers. You will screen and receive donations, detail and stage merchandise, operate the cash register, and assist customers throughout shifts.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, teamwork, and excellent service in a fast-paced store environment. This position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, with duties including loading, unloading, and processing donations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and position up to 50 pounds.
• Part-time role with 18‑24 hours per week, may include weekends.

Responsibilities

• Screen and receive donations at loading door and process them to the appropriate area.
• Detail, clean and organize donations for pricing and merchandising.
• Assist customers at the register and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized ReStore environment.
• Support volunteers and coordinate loading duties with store team.
