Job summary

Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity is seeking a friendly retail associate to welcome donors and customers at the ReStore, process donation drop-offs, and help ensure the intake of donated products meets quality standards.

You will stock and merchandise items, assist customers through the purchase process, supervise volunteers, price merchandise, and collaborate with teams to keep the store clean, inviting, and aligned with the mission in Colorado Springs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Habitat for Humanity mission and vision.
• Clear understanding of the ReStore's role in the overall mission.
• Active listener able to engage customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service and sales experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; forklift certification recommended; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist donors in drop-offs, paperwork, and thanking them.
• Process donations, test for quality, clean, and stock items.
• Greet customers and ensure a welcoming store atmosphere.
• Stock donated and purchased merchandise on shelves and displays.
• Operate cash registers and assist customers through the purchase process.
• Supervise daily volunteers and coordinate with floor staff.
• Price merchandise and keep the sales floor organized and attractive.
• Collaborate with teams to maintain a clean, inviting store environment.
• Spread the mission of Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity.
