Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Retail Associate Production for the Sherrington facility. You will contribute to the mission by maximizing efficiency, store appearance, and customer satisfaction while processing donations for placement on the sales floor.

This role requires teamwork in a fast-paced environment, ability to learn new procedures, and adherence to safety and privacy policies. No prior experience is required, and a background check will be completed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or combination of education and work experience.
• No prior professional certifications required for this position.
• The associate will be required to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspects donations and materials for quality to determine marketability.
• Sorts and tags donated items for store placement.
• Stacks and prepares items for the sales floor according to standards.
• Works to meet daily production and appearance targets.
• Maintains uniform dress code and safety regulations.
• Communicates effectively with customers and colleagues and supports team-based operations.
