Job summary

The Donation Attendant at Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin maximizes store profitability by delivering best in class donor service, accurate donation records, and efficient material handling. You will help build skills and change lives in each community we serve, while following safety guidelines and 5S practices.

Responsibilities include greeting donors, processing donations, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods; lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, baler)
• Must be 18 years old or older to operate power equipment
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, issue receipts, and ensure accurate donation records
• Move donations and salvage to keep floor stocked and flowing
• Price product using unit pricing and good/better/best framework
• Unload furniture safely from donor vehicles
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment per 5S and safety guidelines
• Provide excellent donor and coworker interactions
