Job summary

People Serving People Inc. in Minneapolis is seeking an Operations Associate to manage donations inventory, receiving, unloading, organizing, and distributing supplies for the emergency shelter.

You will work with four departments, maintain calendars, schedule coordination, and ensure accurate invoicing against shipments, while meeting DoT driving requirements and lifting up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license, DOT certification, and clean driving record.
• Minimum two years’ experience driving a delivery truck.
• One year of warehouse and inventory management.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds regularly and work in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and record donations from donors and coordinate with departments.
• Sort and distribute donations to proper departments.
• Redistribute unneeded donations to other organizations.
• Take inventory to determine items to discard or reorder.
• Handle shelf allocation, loading/unloading of merchandise to/from trucks.
• Receive donations and verify invoices match shipments.
• Assist with snow removal and building cleanup.
• Coordinate calendars across four departments and address scheduling challenges.
• Assemble office furniture and other donated items for building use.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Facilities Manager.
