Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Donation Services Driver Assistant in Nashville to support drivers in pickups and donatio­n drives. The role emphasizes courteous donor interaction, safe handling, and accurate donation tracking.

You will assist with loading, packing, and documenting receipts while following company policies and road safety rules. The position requires a High School diploma or GED and at least six months of material handling experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Six (6) months experience in material handling is required.
• Ability to lift or carry loads weighing over 50 pounds continuously.
• Ability to travel to other locations as needed.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Donation Services Drivers in pickups and donations processing.
• Carry, sort and pack donations as designated by leadership.
• Provide donation receipts and maintain donation records.
• Assist with unloading of donated goods and operate trucks safely with driver.
• Maintain safety and follow road laws and company policies.
