Job summary

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries is seeking a Donation Attendant to greet donors, receive donations, and issue receipts inside and outside of retail locations. Responsibilities include preparing donations for production, sorting items, maintaining safety, and assisting truck drivers with loading donations. Flexible weekend and holiday schedule required.

The position offers a starting pay of $13.00 per hour and opportunities to contribute to mission while working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Six months of previous work experience or equivalent education preferred.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service to donors and customers.
• Ability to understand English and interact with customers and employees.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all donors/customers.
• Greet donors and safely unload donations from vehicles.
• Prepare donations for the production processing area and sort into categories.
• Issue donor receipts and provide copies when requested.
• Adhere to safety and security practices and report hazards or injuries.
• Maintain professional appearance per Goodwill standards.
• Adhere to company policies and report theft or misuse of property.
