Job summary

Goodwill Industries-Manasota, Inc. in Jupiter, FL is seeking a Donation Center Attendant to be the first point of contact for donors, delivering friendly customer service and assisting with unloading donations.

Flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, are required to support busy donation periods. You will record donor information, sort items, keep the site clean and safe, safeguard donated goods, and support transportation or site operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, evenings, weekends, or different locations.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and repetitive motion.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors promptly and courteously, assisting with unloading donations and providing tax receipts.
• Accurately record donor information and maintain daily donation counts.
• Sort donations into appropriate categories (saleable, salvage, or trash).
• Keep the donation site clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Safeguard all donated items and ensure proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Support transportation or site operations as needed and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
