Job summary

Thrift World in Saint Joseph, MO is hiring a full-time Community Donation Attendant to greet donors, sort donations, and keep the donation area clean and welcoming.

This Thursday–Monday schedule includes Tuesdays and Wednesdays off; pay is $15.50/hour with benefits such as PTO, health, dental, vision, 401k and employee discount.

Applicants must be 18 or older and undergo a background check; prior retail or donation-center experience is a plus but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can-do attitude with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Previous experience in a retail or donation center environment is a plus, but not required (training will be provided).
• Must be 18 years or older

• Greet and assist donors with a friendly and welcoming attitude
• Accept, sort, and categorize incoming donations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient donation area
• Ensure donations are properly handled and processed
• Build and maintain positive relationships with community members and donors
