The Salvation Army in Newnan, GA is seeking a store cashier to assist customers with donations and purchases, ring up sales, balance cash, and maintain store displays while ensuring the security of cash and items.

You will answer questions, explain store policies, prepare receipts, and help with loading donations in a fast-paced retail environment. A High School diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent experience in retail.
• Experience handling cash and providing good customer service preferred.
• Retail experience helping customers and processing donations is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Ring up sales at the cash register, collect money, make change, and balance the drawer.
• Explain store policies and assist customers with pricing and purchasing items.
• Assist donors by directing them to loading/unloading areas and providing tax receipts when needed.
• Answer store phone queries politely and provide directions or information as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and security of the cash register area and stock auxiliary supplies.
