Job summary

The Salvation Army North Augusta store is seeking a friendly Cashier/Sales Associate to assist customers with donations and purchases, operate the cash register, and help create a positive shopping experience for every visitor. You will balance drawers, prepare receipts, process deposits, and help maintain neat displays while adhering to security procedures.

A HS diploma is required; prior retail or volunteer experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• Requires strong customer service skills and ability to handle cash accurately.
• Experience with retail sales and POS transactions is preferred.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities are important.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers donating and purchasing items; ring up sales.
