Job summary

SALVATION ARMY A GEORGIA CORP in Lufkin, TX is seeking a part-time store associate to receive, sort, price and prepare donated items for display. You will determine suitability and pricing according to standards and help keep the store and sorting room orderly.

You will assist customers donating, selecting and purchasing items, operate and maintain a cash register, and answer customer questions. High school diploma or GED is preferred, with one year retail or warehouse experience or equivalent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred,
• One year retail or warehouse experience preferred,
• Or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, price and prepare donated items for display in the store.
• Determine suitability and pricing of items based on established standards.
• Assist in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the store and sorting room area.
• Assist store customers in donating, selecting and purchasing store items.
• Operate and maintain a cash register.
• Respond to customer questions.
