Job summary

Goodwill Northern New England in South Burlington, VT is seeking Donation Specialists to join our team. Full-time and part-time roles are available, with a pay range of $15.25–$17.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical and literacy skills to support tasks.
• Ability to operate essential job equipment and tools.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings and weekends.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.
• Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, accept donations, and move loads with light machinery.
• Sort donations by type and quality.
• Say “no thank you” to items we cannot accept and explain why to each customer.
• Provide receipts and ensure positive donor interactions.
• Operate power equipment to organize donated products.
