This part-time role runs 28 hours per week, 9:30am–2:30pm, Monday through Friday, in a warehouse setting. Duties include greeting donors, labeling goods, operating pallet jacks, and supporting the thrift store team as needed.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma, GED, or HSE; verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with others.
• Technical/Software Knowledge: Ability to learn how to manage time in payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet donors for donation drop-off and assist with unloading; provide instructions for tax forms; support donors as needed.
• Sorting and Handling: Inspect, sort, label, and move donations; operate pallet jacks or forklifts to move donations as required.
• Team Collaboration: Work in a team with volunteers and coworkers; maintain a safe, organized warehouse per manager instructions.
