Wheeler Mission Ministries in Fishers, IN is seeking a Donation Sorter to receive, sort, organize, and inspect donations, providing excellent customer service to donors while showing care and respect for every item.
This part-time role runs 28 hours per week, 9:30am–2:30pm, Monday through Friday, in a warehouse setting. Duties include greeting donors, labeling goods, operating pallet jacks, and supporting the thrift store team as needed.
Position Summary: The Donation Sorter is responsible for receiving, sorting, organizing, and inspecting all donations. They will provide excellent customer service to Wheeler Mission’s donors and show care and respect to all donations received.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Stand for long periods, kneel, stoop, twist, and bend frequently, hold and grasp donated objects, perform manual labor indoors and outdoors, lift and move donations up to 20 pounds, work in a warehouse environment that may expose workers to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noises, dust, and dirt. Reasonable accommodations are available.
Expected Hours of Work: Part‑time, 28 hours per week, 9:30am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday.
Travel: No travel required.
