Job summary

ThriftSmart is seeking a Production Associate – Hard Goods to help categorize, price, and stock donated items, contributing to the company’s Quality Management and Value Management teams. This role supports efficient merchandising and inventory control, ensuring items are properly labeled and available for sale.

The position requires standing, lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally, and passing a drug test with E-Verification.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in retail or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Must pass drug test and E-Verification.

Responsibilities

  • Sort incoming donations into proper categories.
  • Ensure quality control of all items - keeping the best and recycling the rest.
  • Price and ticket merchandise using pricing guidelines.
  • Stock merchandise on sales floor as needed.
  • Assist customers with loading furniture purchases.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Meet production standards for quality and quantity.
  • Assist other production areas as assigned.

Job Summary

The Production Associate – Hard Goods contributes to ThriftSmart’s Quality Management and Value Management teams in order to categorize, price, and stock donated goods.

ThriftSmart requires its employees to pass a drug test and go through E-Verification.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Sort incoming donations into proper categories.
  • Ensure quality control of all items - keeping the best and recycling the rest.
  • Price and ticket merchandise using pricing guidelines.
  • Stock merchandise on sales floor as needed.
  • Assist customers with loading furniture purchases.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Meet production standards for quality and quantity.
