Job summary

ThriftSmart is seeking a Production Associate – Hard Goods to join our Production department and contribute to quality and value management by categorizing, pricing, and stocking donated goods.

The role supports the production team in ensuring efficient operations, meeting quality standards, and assisting customers with loading purchases. A high school diploma and 1 year in retail or warehouse is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of experience in retail or warehouse environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort incoming donations into proper categories.
• Ensure quality control of all items - keeping the best and recycling the rest.
• Price and ticket merchandise using pricing guidelines.
• Stock merchandise on sales floor as needed.
• Assist customers with loading furniture purchases.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
• Meet production standards for quality and quantity
• Assist other production areas as assigned

JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Associate – Hard Goods contributes to ThriftSmart’s Quality Management and Value Management teams in order to categorize, price, and stock donated goods.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production Associates will perform some combination of the following duties and responsibilities

• Sort incoming donations into proper categories.
• Ensure quality control of all items - keeping the best and recycling the rest.
• Price and ticket merchandise using pricing guidelines.
• Stock merchandise on sales floor as needed.
• Assist customers with loading furniture purchases.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
• Meet production standards for quality and quantity
• Assist other production areas as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
