Job summary

Goodwill of Colorado is seeking a Donation Services Associate at the Canon City store. The role greets customers, accepts donations, and works outdoors in all weather, ensuring courteous service and proper handling of items.

As the first point of contact, you will unload donations, sort items, and maintain safety at donation entrances and remote centers. A HS diploma and basic computer skills are preferred, with a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and ability to greet customers and handle donations professionally.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and maintain safety.
• Basic computer skills to log into systems, email, and order supplies.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with donation drop-offs.
• Unload donations from vehicles and sort items into appropriate areas.
• Inspect and quality-check donations for sales floor or transfer.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment at donation entrances and parking lots.
• Assist with loading/unloading donations for drivers when needed.
• Follow safety procedures and be cross-trained for other departments.
