The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is hiring a Production Assistant 1 in Colorado. The role supports production operations, helps manage daily routes, and ensures safe loading/unloading of trucks while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and strong time management plus customer service skills to perform route duties and carry out pre/post checks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate electronic equipment used for daily route information.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily routing directions and stay on route unless instructed otherwise.
• Manage time to complete the route within the approved schedule.
• Safely load and unload the assigned truck; assist others as needed.
• Handle donations with safety procedures and PPE; ensure damage-free return.
• Train and supervise truck helper in the rehabilitation program.
• Perform Bag & Tag tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Complete pre- and post-checks daily; report any issues to supervisor.
• Represent The Salvation Army with courteous customer service; report donor problems.
• Promptly report accidents or injuries; document as required.
• Abide by DOT/state regulations and attend driver safety meetings.
• Report safety infraction to Transportation Supervisor; follow state meal/rest breaks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
