Job summary

The Salvation Army in Tupelo, MS is seeking a Donation Driver Helper to assist with picking up donations, loading and unloading, and helping the Truck Driver through routes. You will help secure donations, ensure safety and accountability, and help maintain the truck and warehouse area.

No formal education is required; at least six months of experience lifting heavy items is preferred, or any equivalent combination. A valid state driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in picking up donations by riding in Salvation Army truck and unloading at the warehouse.
• Prepares donation receipts and ensures accuracy.
• Lifts, carries, and packs donations to maximize space and protect items.
• Maintains neatness of the warehouse and loading dock area.
• Maintains good donor relationships and safety of donations in route.
