Goodwill Southeast Georgia is seeking a Donation Processing Associate at the MCALPIN location in Savannah, GA. You will sort, grade, and move donated goods in a fast-paced warehouse, while ensuring safety and accuracy in records and receipts for donors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly assess donated goods and determine handling.
• Functional reading and writing skills.
• Good color vision and eyesight for accurate sorting and grading.
• Must be able to use a hand truck and manage physically demanding tasks.
• Able to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift 40–60 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Stand for long periods and work in a warehouse environment with temperature variations.

Responsibilities

• Sort donations into textiles, hardline goods, and trash.
• Grade, hang, and tag textiles per company standards.
• Move materials between workstations as needed.
• Assist donors with unloading vehicles and providing receipts.
• Maintain accurate daily donation records.
• Package seasonal items and label containers for storage or shipping.
• Support store shipment needs and complete required paperwork.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Interact professionally with customers and donors.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required equipment.
• Help meet store production goals set by leadership.
• Undertake additional duties to support the mission.
