Job summary

Goodwill Southeast Georgia is seeking aDonation Processing Associate to perform warehouse tasks centered on processing donated goods. You will sort, grade, and handle donations, maintaining a clean and safe workspace while supporting mission services in the Savannah area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent job-related experience.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly assess donated goods and determine appropriate handling.
• Functional reading and writing skills.
• Good color vision and eyesight for accurate sorting and grading.
• Must be able to lift 40–60 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sort donations into categories: textiles, hardline goods, and trash.
• Grade, hang, and tag textiles according to company standards.
• Move materials between workstations as needed.
• Assist donors with unloading vehicles and providing receipts.
• Maintain accurate daily records of donations and donor interactions.
• Package seasonal items and label containers for storage or shipping.
• Support store shipment needs and complete required paperwork.
• Keep workstations and warehouse areas clean and organized.
• Interact professionally with customers, donors, and team members.
• Adhere to safety procedures and wear required safety equipment.
• Help ensure production standards and goals are met.
