Job summary

Goodwill Southeast Georgia on Saint Simons Island is seeking a warehouse associate to support the processing of donated goods. You will presort items, move materials between stations, and assist donors with unloading and receipts.

Maintain donation records, prepare shipments, and keep work areas clean while upholding safety procedures and production standards. Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED or equivalent experience that provides necessary knowledge, skill, and abilities.
• Good eyesight and color definition.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly assess goods and determine appropriate routing.
• Functional reading and writing skills.
• Ability to use hand truck.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Presort donations into textiles, hardline goods, and trash.
• Move materials between workstations as needed.
• Receive donated goods from donors and assist with unloading and receipts.
• Maintain accurate donation records daily.
• Pack seasonal items in containers and label accordingly.
• Assist with filling store shipment requirements and related paperwork.
• Keep workstations and warehouse areas clean and organized.
• Adhere to safety procedures and wear required safety equipment.
