Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a Donation Processing Associate at the Habersham location in Savannah, GA. You will sort, grade, and handle donated goods in a fast-paced warehouse, maintain a safe and organized workspace, and assist donors with unloading and receipts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent job-related experience.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly assess donated goods and determine handling.
• Functional reading and writing skills.
• Good color vision and eyesight for sorting and grading.
• Must be able to lift 40–60 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Sort donations into textiles, hardline goods, and trash.
• Grade, hang, and tag textiles according to standards.
• Move materials between workstations as needed.
• Assist donors with unloading vehicles and providing receipts.
• Maintain accurate daily donation records.
• Pack seasonal items and label containers for storage or shipping.
• Support store shipment needs and complete paperwork.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations and warehouse areas.
• Interact professionally with donors and team members.
• Adhere to safety procedures and wear required safety equipment.
• Support production standards set by leadership.
• Complete other assignments to support the mission.
