Job summary

Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin is seeking a Production Associate to support store profitability by efficiently sorting, pricing, and processing donations for in-store or e-commerce sales. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and customer interaction while helping to strengthen communities.

You will work with a team to meet production targets, keep a clean workspace, and assist in back-up duties as needed. No prior experience required; 18+ years old preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to learn safe operation of power equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide good customer service.
• Ability to stand, walk and perform light lifting as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Sort donations into outbound containers for e-commerce, salvage, or trash using quality standards.
• Determine if items are unit priced or tagged with price levels on arrival.
• Identify brands and high-interest items to maximize value for store or online sales.
• Meet production goals, moving donations from door to floor within time targets.
• Coordinate with the material handler to bring product, empty trash, and swap salvage containers.
• Greet customers on the sales floor and donors in the donation center.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment following 5S and safety guidelines.
• Support back-up duties for taking in donations or stocking product as assigned.
• Interact professionally with coworkers, shoppers, and donors.
