Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Rochester Hills, MI is seeking a part-time Donation Attendant to greet donors, process donations, and keep the donation area organized. You will be the first contact for donors and help safeguard donated materials.

This 24-hour-per-week role includes evenings, weekends and holidays, paid training, and ongoing coaching. A high school diploma or in progress, basic computer and math skills, strong English communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or currently pursuing
• Strong English communication skills for donor and team interactions
• Basic math and computer skills
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and provide donor assistance
• Process and track donations accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized donation area
• Assist with loading/unloading Salvation Army trucks
• Guide donors on acceptable materials
• Support production processes as needed
