Job summary

Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin, Inc. is seeking a Production Associate to maximize store profitability by efficiently processing donations, sorting items, and pricing for resale. The role supports a positive, mission-driven workplace and contributes to community impact.

Responsibilities include sorting donations, pricing decisions, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while engaging with customers and donors on the floor and in the donation center.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sort donations into outbound containers for e-commerce, salvage, or trash according to quality standards.
• Determine if item is unit priced or tagged with good/better/best price using guidelines.
• Identify brands and high-interest items to maximize value in store or online.
• Meet production goals: HL Donations from door to floor in 15 minutes or 1 SL rack per hour.
• Coordinate with material handler to bring product, empty garbage, and swap salvage containers.
• Greet customers on the sales floor and donors in the donation center.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment following 5S and safety guidelines.
• Work the process at station producing primary donations, as assigned.
