Job summary

Christian Recovery Centers, Inc. is seeking a reliable Donation Pick Up Driver to collect donated items from residential and business locations for our CRCI Thrift Store and facilities in North Carolina.

You will follow route work orders, assess donations against criteria, ensure safe vehicle operation and communicate politely with donors, staff, and volunteers. Valid license and safe driving record required.

Qualifications

• Competent use of box trucks, GPS, phone systems, and warehouse equipment.
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds on an ongoing basis.
• Ability to communicate with donors and staff in a courteous, professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck in a safe, law abiding manner and according to route work orders.
• Load and unload donated items safely and document receipts.
• Ensure donations meet criteria and provide receipts to donors.
• Communicate with donors politely and respectfully and coordinate pickup times.
• Monitor and report vehicle maintenance issues to management.
