Job summary

West Central Planning & Development District is seeking a Donation Truck Driver to operate a company vehicle for pickups and deliveries of donated items. The role includes loading/unloading, assisting with store operations, and occasional cash register duties.

The ideal candidate will have an Arkansas driver’s license with a clean record, ability to pass background checks, and capability to lift heavy objects. This is a physically demanding, service-oriented position supporting the thrift store.

Qualifications

• Valid Arkansas driver's license and ability to be added to company auto insurance.
• Experience driving a box truck; CDL not required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects (>50 lbs) frequently.
• Ability to pass adult background checks and drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Pickup donations by appointment and directions.
• Make trips to landfill for disposal or recycling.
• Supervise a trainee and manage time sheets.
• Keep the store clean and orderly throughout the day.
• Test electrical donations for sale.
• Operate cash register as needed.
• Receive donations and complete donation slips.
• Handle keyholder responsibilities as needed.
• Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA awareness.
• Perform other assigned duties.
