Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a dedicated Donation Pickup & Delivery Driver (Local Routes) to support our community programs. This full-time role involves transporting donations, following routes, and delivering to specified locations while upholding our standards of donor service.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of licensed driving experience, pass a pre-employment DOT screen, and demonstrate strong communication, basic computer and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from destinations following scheduled routes.
• Drive Salvation Army truck for pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure safe handling of goods and comply with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Perform daily vehicle pre- and post-trip inspections.
