The role provides compassionate and professional donation and grief support by engaging families in crisis, advocating for eye, tissue, research, and education donation opportunities, securing authorization, completing all required documentation accurately, and conducting thorough Donor Risk Assessment Interviews while maintaining effective communication with funeral homes, medical examiners, eye banks, hospitals, and donor families. It also manages donor referrals by responding to opportunities from multiple partners, verifying registry status, accessing hospital EMRs, evaluating donor suitability, and performing quality checks on legal documents. Additionally, the position assesses and triages incoming calls and electronic communications, prioritizing urgent needs and routing inquiries appropriately to ensure smooth operations and a positive experience for all stakeholders.
The salary range displayed represents the national base salary range for this position and is provided in good faith to support pay transparency. For positions located in designated higher-cost labor markets, a geographic pay adjustment may apply above the posted range for eligible positions according to LifeNet Health's current policy. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as work location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. Total compensation may also include bonuses, benefits, and other rewards that are not reflected in the posted salary range.
