The role is responsible for all aspects of surgical organ recovery, kidney perfusion, and imported organ processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. It performs full scrubbing and circulating duties, including setting up sterile fields, assisting with gowning and draping, anticipating surgical needs, managing instruments and specimens, maintaining strict sterile technique, and supporting postmortem care and quality improvement. The position coordinates all logistics for organ imports, including air and ground transportation and accompanying surgeons when necessary. It operates kidney perfusion machines, maintains accurate preservation records, monitors pump metrics, and delivers organs for transplantation. Additionally, the role manages organ allocation in accordance with LNH and OPTN/UNOS policies to maximize utilization and ensures precise, timely documentation of all clinical and logistical donor information.

The salary range displayed represents the national base salary range for this position and is provided in good faith to support pay transparency. For positions located in designated higher-cost labor markets, a geographic pay adjustment may apply above the posted range for eligible positions according to LifeNet Health's current policy. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as work location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.
