Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is hiring for a flexible, active role in the Charlotte area. Starting at $15/hour with annual raises and bonuses, this position offers comprehensive benefits and a chance to grow within a mission-driven team.

You will greet donors, help unload donations, sort and price items, and maintain a safe, organized workspace both indoors and outdoors. Training is provided, with opportunities for skill-building and advancement.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and handle merchandise.
• Comfort working indoors and outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks throughout shift.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness.
• Report safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• Work indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements
