Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is seeking team members to greet donors, assist with donations, and price merchandise. You will operate in a fast-paced thrift store environment, following safety rules and quality guidelines.

The role involves standing, walking, lifting up to 100+ pounds, and performing custodial duties indoors and outdoors. Training is provided; experience is not required, and you will have access to benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, assist unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise per safety/quality guidelines.
• Move items to sales floor and keep areas clean.
• Load/unload donation trailers and do custodial tasks.
• Track donation counts and help maintain store cleanliness.
• Report safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support team with additional duties as needed.
• You'll be working indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements.

What You'll Do

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks throughout your shift.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness, including cart retrieval.
• Report any safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• You'll be working indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements
