Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a donation associate. Starting at $15/hour with annual raises and bonuses, you will greet donors, help unload donations, and issue receipts.

No experience is required—training is provided to help you grow and contribute to a friendly team. You’ll handle merchandising, price items, and keep areas clean both indoors and outdoors, with opportunities for skill-building, tuition reimbursement, and team support in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Friendly, dependable team players who enjoy helping others.

• Able to follow safety procedures and handle physical tasks (lifting, standing, moving merchandise).
• Open to feedback and eager to grow through free skill-building opportunities.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and ready to work in a team-focused environment.
• Heavy lifting up to 100+ pounds is part of the role and you’ll be active all day.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks throughout your shift.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness, including cart retrieval.
• Report any safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• You’ll be working indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements.
