Job summary

The Salvation Army ARC Pasadena is hiring a Donation Attendant for the West Covina, CA site. This on-site, full-time role focuses on supporting donors, managing donations, and maintaining the donation area daily.

Responsibilities include processing receipts, organizing donations, and assisting with truck load-outs, while adhering to supervisor instructions and safety guidelines. Employee benefits are offered as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write and to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, donors, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and cleaning the donation trailer/pod area at the start and end of each shift.
• Assisting donors with receipt of donated items and providing receipts.
• Maintaining reports and paperwork as instructed by Supervisor.
• Sorting donated material into proper containers and stacking as directed by Supervisor.
• Assisting with loading donations onto trucks as needed.
• Notifying supervisor of needed items before stocks run out.
• Securing the donation trailer/pod at shift end.
