Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill is seeking a friendly, self-motivated Retail Donation Attendant to join the ADC - Leawood team. You will support daily store operations, greet donors, process donations, and help maintain an organized store environment.

The role requires strong communication and basic math skills, with a focus on delivering excellent service in a fast-paced retail setting. This is an hourly, full-time position with opportunities for bonus eligibility and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• No degree required; HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers and management.
• Organized and able to interact with a diverse workforce.
• Comfort with basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer service interactions, including greetings and assisting donors with drop-offs.
• Handle all donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated and purchased goods into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, trash).
• Notify management of hazardous or inappropriate donations.
• Maintain high quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
