Job summary

The Salvation Army's Durango Thrift Store in Las Vegas is seeking a Donation Attendant to support the Adult Rehabilitation Program by handling donated items, managing receipts, and maintaining the donation area. This is a full-time role requiring reliability, physical stamina, and a service-oriented mindset.

The position offers a pathway to growth within a values-driven organization. You will work with a team to ensure smooth donor experiences, accurate paperwork, and safe unloading and loading

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Background check to include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Must read and write and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow staff, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean the donation trailer/pod at the start and end of each shift.
• Assist donors in receipt of donated items and provide receipts.
• Maintain all reports and paperwork as instructed by Supervisor.
• Sort donated material into proper containers and stack as instructed by Supervisor.
• Assist TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations onto trucks as necessary.
• Inform supervisor of needed items before running out (e.g., brooms, receipts, totes, carts).
• Secure and lock Donation trailer/pod at end of shift.
