Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a motivated Donation Attendant at our Victorville Thrift Store to support the Adult Rehabilitation Program. You will help donors, process donations, and keep donation areas organized while contributing to a friendly, efficient shopping experience.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and safety, with opportunities for growth within a mission-driven organization that values service to the community and adheres to COVID‑19 safety measures

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and write and to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow employees, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean donation trailer/pod area at start and end of shift.
• Assist donors with receiving donated items and provide receipts.
• Maintain reports and paperwork as directed by Supervisor.
• Sort donated material into appropriate containers and stack material.
• Assist TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations onto trucks as needed.
• Inform supervisor of needed items before running out (e.g., brooms, receipts, totes, carts).
• Secure and lock the Donation trailer/pod at shift end.
