Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking an entry-level part-time associate in Clermont, FL. You will assist donors, process donations, and help maintain a clean, organized retail floor with proper display of textiles and hangers.

Under the General Manager’s direction, you’ll greet customers, issue receipts, rotate stock, and ensure safety procedures are followed while upholding store merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and provide courteous, professional service.
• Receive donations and issue receipts for donated items.
• Rotate stock and bring items to the sales floor per procedures.
• Sort, box and label hangers by type for merchandising.
• Maintain clean, safe sales floor and production areas.
• Direct customers to proper areas and answer questions.
• Remain vigilant for shoplifting and report suspicious activity.
• Follow established safety and garment handling procedures.
