MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking a Retail Donation Attendant for the Centralia Broadway store. This hourly, part-time role supports donations processing, customer interactions, and store presentation with a focus on efficiency and hospitality.

The ideal candidate communicates well, stays organized, and handles cash and donations responsibly while upholding the company's values and safety standards. A flexible schedule and benefits are available to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• No degree required; HS diploma preferred.
• Strong communication with customers and staff.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer service, greet donors, assist with donation drop-offs, and issue receipts.
• Handle donations with care and maintain neat, categorized areas (sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet).
• Notify management of hazardous or inappropriate items and maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Build professional relationships with team members and leadership to support cross-team communication.
• Uphold dress code and safeguard store assets including cash and donated items.
• Assist with maintaining stock, rotate goods, and ensure walkways are clear.
• Support flexible schedules and participate in monthly bonus program.
