Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill is seeking a Retail Donation Attendant to support donations, customer service, and store operations in Leawood, KS. The role offers an hourly rate of $15.50 with a monthly bonus potential up to $250 and full-time benefits.

The ideal candidate will provide friendly service, sort donations, and maintain store cleanliness while adhering to safety and policy guidelines. No degree required; HS diploma preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and able to interact with a diverse work population.
• Math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer service, assist donors with donations, and offer thanks and tax receipts.
• Handle donations with care and respect; sort donated and purchased goods into categories.
• Notify management of hazardous or inappropriate merchandise; maintain cleanliness and organization of store areas.
• Maintain safety, cross-functional communication, and professional appearance; safeguard assets and report theft.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety regulations; participate in optional benefits and paid time off.
