Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking a Retail Donation Attendant for the Manchester Store to engage donors and support daily operations. This role emphasizes friendly customer service, accurate donation processing, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization.

The position is hourly, full-time, with a focus on teamwork, safety, and professional appearance in line with company policies and dress code.

Qualifications

• No degree required; High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer service interactions, including greetings and assisting donors with their donation drop off.
• Handle all donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated and purchased goods into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, trash).
• Notify management of hazardous, valuable, or inappropriate merchandise.
