Qualifications

• No degree required; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and able to interact with a diverse work population.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer service interactions, including greetings, assisting donors with their donation drop-off, and providing tax receipts.
• Handle donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated and purchased goods into categories: sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, and trash.
• Notify management of hazardous or inappropriate merchandise/donations.
• Maintain high store cleanliness and organize stock efficiently.
• Uphold dress code and professional appearance; maintain professional relationships with staff.
• Safeguard agency assets and report any theft or loss.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
