Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking a Donation Attendant for our Hesperia Thrift Store to support the Adult Rehabilitation Program. You will help maintain the donation area, assist donors, and ensure proper paperwork is kept up to date.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must pass background check (Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry).
• Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and cleaning the Donation trailer/pod area at start and end of shift.
• Assist donor in receipt of donated items and provide receipt.
• Maintain all reports and paperwork as directed by Supervisor.
• Sort donated material into proper containers and stack as instructed.
• Assist TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations onto trucks as needed.
