The Salvation Army in San Jose, CA seeks a Donation Attendant to support daily operations at the donation trailer/pod. You will assist donors, issue receipts, and help maintain order and paperwork under supervision.

Flexibility is required; full-time shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role focuses on front-line donor relations, item handling, and keeping the facility clean and organized per TSA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with donors and staff.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and clean the donation trailer/pod area at the start and end of each shift.
• Assist donors and provide receipts for donated items.
• Maintain reports and paperwork as instructed by the Supervisor.
• Sort donated material and assist with loading donations onto trucks as needed.
• Ensure trailer/pod is secured at shift end and stay flexible for scheduling.
