Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northern Illinois is seeking a dedicated Retail Associate to support store operations and donor relations in Woodstock, IL. You will greet donors, process donations, and sort items to ready them for sale or disposal, while providing exceptional customer service at all times.

In this role you will handle textiles, hard goods and other merchandise, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and collaborate with teammates to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication are essential.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist donors with unloading vehicles and processing donated items.
• Sort and prepare textiles, hard goods, and other donations for sale or disposal.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to safety standards.
• Provide accurate donor receipts and tax information as required.
