Job summary

Goodwill of Northern Illinois is seeking a part-time Retail Associate at the Crystal Lake, IL store to support donation intake, sorting, pricing, and customer service. You will assist donors, process textiles and goods, and help prepare items for transit while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, and flexibility for weekend/evening shifts. Compensation aligns with the stated hourly range and store operations needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides responsive and respectful service to donors.
• Processes hard goods (wares, electrical, furniture, books, shoes, accessories).
• Receives donations and assists in unloading vehicles.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly work area and follows safety standards.
• Tracks number of donations and zip codes for donors and prepares goods for transit.
