Job summary

Goodwill in Meadville, PA, is seeking team members to process donated goods, applying pricing guidelines to wares, softlines, and bins. The role requires quick decision-making and attention to quality as items move to sale, e-commerce, trash, or salvage.

Responsibilities include meeting daily processing quotas, preserving value of donations, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to safety rules. Prior training will be provided and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of collectibles or antiques preferred.
  • Basic digital literacy.
  • Strong sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

  • Process wares, softlines, or bin using current organization pricing guidelines.
  • Ability to make decisions quickly.
  • Ensure donated goods are processed correctly between saleable, e-comm, trash, and salvage using the One Touch System.
  • Meet minimum processing standards for quantity of saleable items (Wares 63/hr; Softlines 50/hr; Bin 1 rack/1.5 hrs).
  • Meet minimum standards for quality of saleable items; <10% rejected in audit.
  • Preserve the value of donated goods.
  • Work with clients and employees in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Follow all safety policies and guidelines.
  • Keep work area neat and organized.
  • Complete assigned training.
