Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a team-oriented associate to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for resale in our Retail stores. The role involves processing items quickly to meet daily production goals in a fast-paced setting, while adhering to procedures and safety standards.

You will collaborate with management and peers to optimize workflow, maintain order, and participate in required trainings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and sound judgement
• Minimum age 18 to operate forklift (16–17 not allowed)

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods
• Effectively process goods to meet daily production goals
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support daily production goals
• Identify and quickly solve problems and/or seek management support
• Effectively communicate with management and other team members
• Promote cooperation and teamwork with peers
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area
• Adhere to safety and security practices including reporting hazards
• Attend and complete required trainings and meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
